Part 8 / 11
Bits now, a draft for later
This chapter separates what exists from what is planned. Please read both parts.
In the practice build: Bits
Bits are the only thing the practice build pays. They exist in your browser, you spend them on parts, energy and builder jobs, and they cannot be withdrawn, sold or turned into $PIPKO. There is no leaderboard and no prize.
In the online game: a draft
Draft design — not live
The idea under discussion: in-game purchases are paid in $PIPKO; part of what players spend goes into a shared pool; each day a slice of that pool is divided by how much of the total output each island supplies. That needs a game server and an on-chain vault that do not exist, and the split, the slice and every other number are undecided.
Under any design like this, what an island receives depends on what other players spend and how much output everyone runs. It can be small or zero, and it is not income. We will publish the final rules, and an independent review of any contract, before anything goes live.
