The matched-rig bonus
Rigs of similar strength working side by side lift the island’s total output.
What counts as matched
A running rig is matched when its healthy op/s is at least 25% of your strongest running rig and at least 1.5 op/s. Healthy means before heat, dust and overclock, so a hot afternoon does not knock a rig out of the set.
How the bonus adds up
Every matched rig after the first adds 5%. With two or more matched rigs running, each workshop level above the first adds 4% more. With all 6 plots matched and a level-6 workshop that is +45%.
Worked example
Two Tower rigs (27.2 op/s each) and a Pocket (1.8 op/s). The Pocket delivers less than a quarter of a Tower, so only two rigs are matched: +5% from the pair, plus the workshop bonus if it is above level 1.
